I had a great stay in the balam suite. I loved that they had a hammock in the room to nap on. I did not utilize the pool area but it looked very relaxing. This was in the middle of the city and close to everything but it was still quiet, clean, and secure. They close up the front gate at night and give you a key if you want to stay out late like we did. Lincoln checked us in, he did a wonderful job and gave great suggestions for dinner and drinks. Super pretty grounds with a clean and equipped shared kitchen.
A GEM in the city ! The room are clean and calm ! I also appreciated to have moustik nets on the windows. The patio is also very enjoyable while enough away from the room not to disturb others. Hammocks next to the small pool with birds around is very enjoyable too. The staff is very polite and serviable ! A Gem compared to what we went through in Yucatan / Quintaro Roo. THANK YOU
Cozy place full of spirit and charm. Lovely shared spaces and a great atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally hospitable and genuinely helpful — they recommended some fantastic places to eat that we really enjoyed. It wasn’t the most luxurious place we stayed during our 14-day trip in Mexico, but it was definitely the most charming. Very clean, with thoughtful little details that make a difference. Highly recommended — we loved our stay.
I must say, we love this charming little hotel. I don’t know if it has 10 or 12 rooms but they are so quaint. The funny thing is, we left this place after night 1 because we planned to go to another location in Yucatan. Then the weather sent us back, and here we stayed for 3 more days. The rooms were spacious and clean, the pool was charming and the community space up front was cozy. The best part was the people. I think we got to know everyone that worked there. They were so gracious and willing to help, we didn’t wanna leave. If you stay here you will understand what I mean!
This was one of the best places we have stayed in the 3 months we have spent in Mexico. Julio,Brenda and their staff have found the perfect formula for a top class stay. Nothing was too much trouble.The property is so well designed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Loved the lounge and pool areas and the bonus of having a kitchen to use. A few minutes walk from the centre it was perfectly located. We could barely drag ourselves away to go sightseeing but Julio helped us out to arrange a private taxi tour to some of the quieter cenotes which was fabulous. We loved it here.
Amazing stay! The hotel was even better than the photos, and Luis gave us a warm welcome. He and the team gave great advice on cenotes and helped us rent a scooter. Plus, the cutest dog, Kia, made our stay even more special. Highly recommend!
The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very near to shopping and restaurants and was perfect for the few nights that we were in town. The bed is rather hard as are the pillows but the room was comfortable and quiet. Having a shared kitchen was great for leftovers, supplying our own beer, etc. We would recommend this hotel to other travelers!
